pinThe Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University's vision is to be a leading institute of excellence in Humanities and Social Sciences nationally and internationally. The Faculty is determined to do its best, especially in building the body of knowledge to meet the needs of the community and society. Therefore, among its activities are academic collaborations with international organizations to promote lecturers and graduate students to develop and present more academic work in the international academic arena.

In cooperation with the Faculty of Defence Studies and Management, National Defence University of Malaysia, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University and Faculty of Liberal Arts, Mahidol University, the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University organizes the 9th International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences at the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, Hat Yai, Thailand. The objectives of the conference are for academics, researchers, and graduate students from Thailand, Malaysia, and other countries to exchange their academic experience, and publish their academic work contributing to the body of knowledge beneficial to teaching, learning, and researching that could be used in development of their organizations, institutions, and countries.

Types of articles
Abstracts and full papers in all branches with content related to humanities, social sciences, languages, linguistics, and those related to the theme of Challenges in 21st Century: Sustainable Development in Multicultural Societies are welcome with the following conditions.
1. Abstract—In the case that the author wishes to present the work but does not wish to have the full paper published, the abstract will be evaluated by the editorial board and will be published in the anthology of abstracts but will not be included in the proceedings.
2. Full papers—If authors wish to present their work and to have their papers published in the proceedings, the papers will be first assessed by our editorial board and subsequently reviewed by qualified readers who will recommend  rejection or acceptance for publication in either the conference proceedings or Journal of Liberal Arts, in TCI 1. 

The best one will be awarded the Best Paper Award, on which our selection committee's decision is considered final.
